Using a color scheme which could easily be from Joseph's coat of many colors, Norman created this ketuba as a perfect choice for any groom who is a descendant of either a Levite or Cohen with the names of our twelve tribes as the dominant visual element. A simple crown of Jerusalem contrasts perfectly with the calligraphy and floral "windows" that help illustrate the tribes. The four green corners could be the belt that held Joseph's coat together. On holding the original piece in your hands, it is like holding cloth. The 10 Commandments take the central side panels.
