Description
This was most definitely a most unusual commission for Norman. He was approached to be the calligrapher for a ketuba on a large and heavy piece of olive wood whereby the olive wood had to be made to order.

The Russian-born artist, Esther Myatlov first painted the olive wood and then it was sent to Norman to Jerusalem to write the text of the ketuba.

At the time of the wedding, the bride and groom presented a special blessing, also created by the two artists on olive wood, as a gift of thanks to the parents for their support and love.
